Medication notes — BP / diabetes / anticoagulants
· BP medication: take with a small sip of water before 6 AM on the checkup day. · Diabetes medication / insulin: skip on the checkup day. · Anticoagulants (aspirin, warfarin, Astrix, Plavix, Xarelto, Eliquis, etc.): because of bleeding risk during biopsy or polyp removal, pause about 1 week ahead in consultation with your prescriber. Always notify the checkup team in advance.
Sedated endoscopy — no self-driving
Clients receiving sedated endoscopy may not self-drive on the day of the procedure. Please use public transport or come with a companion. Do not bring valuables or children (loss / incident is the client's own responsibility).

For lower-abdomen ultrasound (prostate / uterus), please arrive with a full bladder to improve image quality.

Women who may be pregnant or are pregnant cannot receive radiation-based exams (X-ray, CT, some MRI). Breastfeeding clients must pause breastfeeding for the day of sedated endoscopy.
